Excluding ebay, how can I make my parents breathe easy when it comes to me wanting to buy stuff from online stores that are very secure? Some things I want online aren’t available in the stores, but may be available in mainland stores (I live in Hawaii and our stock for clothes and things, say PacSun or Hot Topic, are different).

So, what do I do about my parents? Mainly my dad since he holds the credit card.

One Comment to “How do I reassure my parents that online shopping is safe?”

  1. You want to make sure the website states, "Hacker Safe",and/or "VeriSign Secured" at the bottom. These websites have high security and are virtually hack-proof. Legitimate online-shopping websites include, but are not limited to:
    Amazon.com
    bamzu.com
    buy.com
    overstock.com
    vehix.com

    Hope this helps!
