Do they really want to fix the financial crisis? No, they do not. This is what actual class warfare is all about – the RICH get richer and the POOR get poorer. Money does not just evaporate. It changes hands. This economy fear is just pushing the small investor out at a lost. And that means someone else is making a huge profit. In my opinion that would be the large (rich) investor.
Fixing the financial crisis.
1) If the mortgage 
a) Refinance.
b) Terms of refinance should be any where from 30 to 50 years at about 5% to 5.75% interest.
2) If the mortgage payer does not live in the house:
a) Foreclose.
b) Resale.

Many are voicing out your same suspicions, that the bailout is to feather these same investors WHO MADE THE MARKETS CRASH nests.
I am not an expert, so I am thinking that if I can see the poor (ME INCLUDED) getting some relief, and EXPERIENCE (SEE)a bit of relief BY WATCHING prices that are high,GO DOWN, then and only then will I believe that these people who are our leaders MEAN IT WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL FIX THE FINANCIAL CRISIS.

I think they are but then I am not really sure. You are very true but then i think they are trying to give money to put in your pockets to spend. But what you spend goes right back to them.
Yes. If the "government" wants to help the "homeowners" and "main street" they should refinance these "risky" loans into FHA or other government backed loans and set a 30 year repayment plan. However, if the "government" is financing the home, there will have to be regulations on selling the home, as there are with a lot of government backed loans. If the home is vacant, then it should be forclosed on, and offered for sale. However, there is more to the economic crisis than the financial side of it.
The rich have gotten richer and the poor poorer since the invention of government.
